Welcome to the
Lamont Elementary School District
Family Resource & Learning Center!
The LESD-FRLC is a caring, compassionate, supportive place where every member of the community can feel welcome. The LESD-FRLC partners with families and the community to help them be successful by strengthening children, youth, families, and the community as a whole. We do this through a number of Programs and Services designed to support children, families, and the community. We invite you to learn more about the resources available through the Lamont Weedpatch Family Resource Center by exploring the links in the menu above.
The Family Resource Center has resources to support every family, including
One Stop for Resources and Referrals: If you need assistance but aren’t sure where to go, we will link you to available resources that can help you, such as food baskets, utility assistance, insurance or health services, translation, and others.
Working with Families in Need: If your family is in crisis or needs intensive help, our staff will work with you one-on-one until you are back on your feet.
Supporting and Educating Parents: We can help you support your child in getting their needs met in school, help you learn ways to address parenting challenges you are facing or increase your ability to support your family through accessing a variety of learning programs.
Preparing Your Child for School: Pre-school, parenting, and community programs help make sure that both children and parents are ready to succeed in school from the first day.
And many more resources and services to help your family…
